True healing is not a straight line — it moves in waves, changing, as the body has its own deep wisdom and rhythm.

“The mind is like the wind and the body like the sand: if you want to know how the wind is blowing, you can look at the sand.”— Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen

Sometimes we find ourselves in

01

Reactive responses we can’t control.

You lash out at the ones you love, feel overwhelmed, and seem unable to stop it.

02

It’s just too heavy.

You feel alone, misunderstood, like you don’t belong even when you’re around people.

03

Life transitions that seem to have no end.

You’ve been strong, you fought — but it begins to feel like there’s no more air in the lungs.

To decide if this is the right space and fit for you

When words run out, the body has the next words.

Most therapy assumes language is the entry point. My work comes from a different tradition. I trained at Naropa University’s Somatic Counseling Psychology program, where the body is at the center of psychological work, not the periphery. I added clinical training at Denver Family Institute in Marriage and Family Therapy. My core methods are Dance/Movement Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Pre- and Perinatal Psychotherapy — with talk therapy woven through.

Our mind can block painful memories. But our body stores all our background — and may speak to us through tension, pain, allergies, or automatic reactions to stress. Somatic and dance/movement therapy give the physical body a voice, and use sensation and movement as their language.
